Photopolymerization is not just a photoinitiator. Equally important determinants of the process are the appropriate selection of monomers, photostabilizers and pigments.
While doing internal research and making contacts with industry partners , we have acquired the necessary knowledge and experience to pursue ambitious concepts. One of these will be works funded by the 2.1 fund “R & D investment support for enterprises”, targeting the development of paints and varnishes based on the Sylanto photoinitiators.
We also have a wide range of 3D printing in our coverage, where UV radiation is used for hardening. We are currently developing compositions that are polymerized by cationic mechanism, so 3D prints will be built with epoxy components, for example, which will provide high strength and relatively low shrinkage of the finished product.
